BACKGROUND AND PROJECT COMMENTS:
The Grumman Goose (Geese plural) was first built in 1937 in Bethpage, NY. It is a fully amphibious airplane and was originally used as a weekend commuter plane for the affluent, so they could fly their plane to and from Manhattan. Soon the versatility and usefullness of the Goose was discovered and many of them made their way to the coast for passenger and cargo flying. This Goose came to us from pacific Coastal. It is already stripped and some of the controls are already painted.
