Originally built for the US Air
Force, this aircraft was turned over to the German
Luftwaffe in the mid 60's and eventually sold to the
Portuguese Air Force. For the next few years the
aircraft saw action in East Africa and in 1972 was left
at an airfield in Byra. It remained there until 1993
when it was purchased by a Canadian Pilot working in
South Africa. The aircraft was shipped to Canada where
it was completely restored to its original condition.
